Delika

The Delika canyon provides a beautiful hiking route that follows the course of the river to the waterfall. A 7 km route (round trip) from Delika through oak and beech trees at the lower part of the canyon.

It is inaccessible in winter or when there is heavy rainfall; the rest of the year the water seeps through the rocky cavities, exposing the winding riverbed, which is accessible on foot, alternating changes of bank as the path progresses.

As you reach the end of the canyon, you will see the large rocky outcrops approaching the bottom of the waterfall. It is an uncomplicated route, but if you want to get to the base of the waterfall itself, (although it is not necessary to enjoy the views) you will have to climb over the rocks at the final stretch.
