Guided Tour of Ekainberri, Replica of Ekain Cave

Ekainberri is located in Zestoa, on the Basque coast, just over a kilometre from the town centre and within easy reach of San Sebastián. The approach follows the Sastarrain valley, a scenic route that already sets the tone for the visit. All tours are guided and last approximately 40 minutes, taking visitors through a faithful replica of Ekain cave — considered the masterpiece of cave art in the region. Inside, around 70 animal figures are depicted: 64 painted and 6 engraved, including the famous horses, bisons and bears from the Magdalenian period, preserved in exceptional condition. The original site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
