Bicycle hire on the Plazaola-Leitzaran Greenway

The Leitzaran Visitor Centre, located 2 km from the village of Andoain and at the entrance to the Plazaola-Leitzaran Greenway, offers MTB and electric MTB hire for exploring this natural route. Centre staff are on hand to provide all the information needed to plan the outing. The first stage of the greenway covers 23 km with a 350-metre elevation gain to Leitza, passing through 34 tunnels, and can be completed by bike in approximately 2 to 2.30 hours one way. Bikes can be hired for a half day — up to 3 hours — or a full day — up to 7 hours —, and are available for both adults and children, with trailers and child seats as optional extras. The greenway continues through the Larraun valley for another 25 kilometres into Navarre, with multi-day hire also available. Advance booking is recommended.
