Discover Ordizia Market: Guided and Self-Guided Tours

The D'elikatuz Centre, housed in the historic Barretxe building at the heart of the old town of Ordizia, is the starting point for discovering one of the most deeply rooted markets in the Goierri region. From here, the local tourism office offers two ways to explore its history: an accompanied guided tour and a self-guided route that visitors can follow at their own pace. The self-guided itinerary covers twelve stops at the most significant locations connected to the market's history, each marked with a plaque featuring vintage photographs. Audio guides are available for download in four languages at each stop, allowing the route to be followed independently and without time constraints. Ordizia is a natural halt on any journey through inland Gipuzkoa: a town whose market has shaped the rhythm of the comarca for centuries, and whose history can be read directly in its streets.
