stone structure rising majestically towards the sky. <\/p>\n<p>It is a tower-castle that served as a defence for the town walls, on the western side, behind the large castle and its towers, which defended the northern part of the town. <\/p>\n<p>It has a square floor plan, in the image and likeness of those built in northern Italy and the Catalan Pyrenees at the dawn of the Romanesque period.<\/p>\n<p>On entering the tower, visitors are immersed in a journey through time.
